Biography

Robert was born in New York and moved to South Florida in 1970. He worked on his MFA from Florida Atlantic University in Acting and Directing. It was there that Robert was influenced and fortunate enough to work with such luminaries as Edward Albee, Hume Cronyn, Bill Homewood (RADA), and Joshua Logan. Robert has been in over 100 productions, both as an actor and director before relocating to Los Angeles. Since then Robert has worked closely with the late Charles Nelson Reilly, who considered Robert his protege`, Henry Polic II, and the late Roy London. He is also a co-founder of The Florida Theatre Connection as well as serving as Resident Director of the Tamarind Theatre. Past show’s at the Tamarind that Robert has directed include: Brothers, Lynette at 3 AM, and It’s All About You, and a host more, 45 to be exact, but whose counting? He directed the critically acclaimed Durang Durang at the Hollywood Court Theatre, Seascape With Sharks And Dancer at The Bitter Truth Theater, The Backwards Aorta at The Complex and Sunday on The Rocks at The Underground. As an actor Robert has Guest starred in ABC’s “...it’s like, you know” as Felipe Horowitz, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” with Larry David as well as having finished work with Martin Landau and Rita Moreno in Carlo’s Wake and Jenna Fischer in Lollilove, both independent feature films. Robert teaches Acting at The Actors Group.
